We’re thrilled to announce that Maki & Ramen is bringing the authentic taste of Tokyo to London with not one, not two, but THREE exciting new locations opening in February and March 2026!
Since Teddy Lee founded Maki & Ramen in 2015 after training at a sushi academy in Tokyo, we’ve been on a mission to share genuine Japanese cuisine with communities across the UK. Now, we’re ready to serve up our signature ramen bowls and expertly crafted sushi to food lovers across the capital.
Where can you find us?
Lakeside Shopping Centre
Opening 6th February Kicking off our London adventure, we’re opening our doors at Unit 2, The Broadwalk in Lakeside Shopping Centre, West Thurrock. Whether you’re hunting for bargains or just enjoying a day out, swing by for a steaming bowl of our famous Tonkotsu ramen. With over 13,000 parking spaces and easy access via bus, tram, and train, getting your Japanese food fix has never been easier.
The O2
Concerts. Comedy shows. Sporting events. Now, incredible Japanese cuisine. We’re bringing Maki & Ramen to Unit 12.0.04 at The O2, making it the perfect spot to grab dinner before a gig or unwind after climbing Up at The O2. With North Greenwich Underground station right on your doorstep and the Thames Clippers river bus stopping nearby, you can easily make us part of your night out.
Soho
The West End just got a whole lot tastier. Our third London location at 9 Old Compton Street puts us right in the heart of the action, surrounded by theatres, shops, and Chinatown’s vibrant energy. Pre-theatre dinner? Post-shopping treat? Late-night ramen craving? We’ve got you covered. Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus, and Tottenham Court Road stations are all within easy walking distance.

Fresh Sushi – Made daily with high-quality ingredients, our sushi showcases the traditional techniques Teddy learned in Tokyo. Each roll is a perfect balance of flavour and craftsmanship.
Signature Tonkotsu Ramen – Our customer favourite features a rich, creamy pork broth that’s been simmered for hours to achieve those deep, savoury notes you crave. Topped with tender pork, perfectly cooked noodles, and a soft-boiled egg, it’s comfort in a bowl.
