London welcomes Maki & Ramen to the capital with three exciting new locations opening in 2026. From the vibrant heart of Soho to the iconic entertainment hub of The O2, and the premier shopping destination of Lakeside, we’re bringing the true taste of Japan to communities across London.

Founded by Teddy Lee in 2015 after training at a sushi academy in Tokyo, Maki & Ramen has one simple mission: to serve high-quality ramen and sushi that bring people together. Whether you’re a Japanese cuisine enthusiast or new to the experience, our London locations offer the perfect setting to enjoy traditional flavours with modern sensibilities.

Our London Locations

We’re proud to serve authentic Japanese food at three convenient locations across London:

• Soho, London: Located at 9 Old Compton Street in the heart of the West End, opening 6th March. Perfect for theatre-goers and those exploring central London’s vibrant entertainment district.
• Maki & Ramen at The O2: Found in Unit 12.0.04 at Peninsula Square, opened 17th February. Ideal for concert-goers and visitors to one of the world’s most famous entertainment venues.
• Lakeside: Situated in Unit 2, The Broadwalk at Lakeside Shopping Centre, West Thurrock, opened 6th February. A convenient stop for shoppers exploring one of the UK’s largest retail destinations.

Getting Around London

London’s exceptional transport network makes visiting any of our three locations simple and convenient:

• Underground: The London Underground connects you to all our venues. North Greenwich (Jubilee line) serves The O2, while Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus, and Tottenham Court Road stations are near our Soho location. For Lakeside, take the C2C rail service to Chafford Hundred.
• Buses: Comprehensive bus routes serve all areas of London, with frequent services to Soho, Greenwich Peninsula, and West Thurrock.
• River Services: Thames Clippers river buses offer a scenic route to The O2 at North Greenwich Pier.
• Overground & National Rail: Multiple stations provide connections across Greater London and beyond, including easy access to Lakeside Shopping Centre.
• Cycling: Santander Cycles docking stations are available near our Soho and O2 locations for eco-friendly travel.
• Parking: While central London has limited street parking, NCP car parks serve Soho and The O2. Lakeside Shopping Centre offers over 13,000 free parking spaces.
