The Felix Project
We are so excited to announce our amazing charity partnership with The Felix Project! An incredible charity that we are so proud to be able to support.
WHAT DO THE FELIX PROJECT DO?
The Felix Project is London’s largest food redistribution charity. Their vision is a city where good food is never wasted, and no one goes hungry. It aims to reduce the negative impact food waste has on the environment by working with the food industry to rescue high quality surplus produce that would otherwise have gone to waste. This food is sorted at one of four depots or turned into meals in Felix’s Kitchen. It is then distributed to over 1,200 community organisations, such as food banks, homeless shelters and primary schools, who are working to feed people experiencing hunger. In 2025 The Felix Project distributed 44M meals across every London borough.
2025 was an epic year for The Felix Project! They broke all previous records, launched new initiatives, and announced our merger with FareShare.
In 2025 alone they partnered with 225 different food suppliers who helped us rescue over 18,000 tonnes of surplus food which is the equivalent of over 44 million meals!
That was distributed to over 1,200 community organisations and in the process saved nearly 25,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent from being needlessly wasted (that’s the same as driving around the world 1,800 times)!
