If you like ramen then you must visit this place. Make sure you get the Hell Ramen - gorgeous! Believe the hype
We had no dinner reservations so we’re looking for somewhere around our hotel. After checking the menu out one of the chefs came out and said “it’s all delicious”. His boldness convinced us so we went in and were delighted we did. It is a small but cosy restaurant with quirky decorations and a good atmosphere. Staff were attentive and quick with drinks. We had a noodle dish (can’t remember the name), California rolls, edamame and gyoza which were all fantastic and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend!
Had an amazing meal here. Service was so good. Chilled out, cozy atmosphere. Would highly recommend!!
Feels like I've gone to Japan when I step into this little ramen restaurant. The decor is cute and you can write your own notes and stick on the wall which I think is a very cool touch. The ramen is excellent. I got the tonkotsu ramen and it has sweetcorn inside which I love. The meat is cooked perfectly and the broth is simply delicious! I will definitely be returning!
Honestly the best ramen I’ve eaten in my life! I visited on a trip and have yet to find a ramen to rival this, although I’ll keep trying. I’d definitely return if I’m ever back in Edinburgh.
Great little place serving authentic ramen, dumplings and Asian nibbles. The sushi/sashimi sounded nice too although we didn't try that. Fast and friendly service, huge portions, make sure you arrive hungry!
Always have good food here, been to the one at fountain bridge before but this was the first time at this one. I Will definitely come back, nice relaxed atmosphere, and the staff were so welcoming and friendly!
Now, I use the word amazing for a couple aspects of this place, first thing that I noticed when I was seated at the bar, was how much passion the chefs have when cooking, each piece of fish is inspected intricately and then cut to perfection, great care is put into every single dish I've seen to be served this evening. I ordered the beef ramen, feeling a bit cheap, but it was a bowl full of flavour, fairly spicy, and plenty for dinner on a budget (just less than a tenner). As for the venue itself, the decor is simple with a wall full of post It notes that customers can write anything on and stick up, combined with its very relaxed atmosphere, it's quite a charming place.
I am really impressed that the sushi was made fresh in front of us. It was delicious reasonably priced and the staff were very welcoming and friendly
The staff here are very welcoming and accommodating. Overall quirky and cosy atmosphere with lovely food! I should mention I eat halal only and the staff was very kind in ensuring I knew exactly what on the menu I can eat. My friends and I ate here twice in the same week and will defo be back on our next trip to Edinburgh (would recommend the chicken ramen!) Thank you!! 🙂 love from England, Colombia, and Japan
